Overview
TPS7A47 is a positive voltage (+36V) ultra-low noise (4µVRMS) LDO linear regulator family capable of supplying 1A load current. Users can program the TPS7A4700 output voltage (up to 20.5V) through PCB layout and routing without external resistors or feed-forward capacitors, reducing total component count. For the TPS7A4701, the output voltage can be programmed via PCB layout (up to 20.5V) or adjusted using external feedback resistors (up to 34V). The TPS7A47 is designed with bipolar technology, primarily targeting high-accuracy, high-precision instrumentation applications where clean voltage rails are critical to maximizing system performance. This makes it an ideal choice for high-performance analog circuitry in power op-amps, ADCs, DACs, and other demanding applications such as medical, RF, and test and measurement. In addition, the TPS7A47 LDO is well suited for post-DC/DC converter regulation, filtering the inherent output voltage ripple from DC/DC switching conversion to maximize system performance in sensitive instrumentation, test and measurement, audio, and RF applications.
