The TPS7A54 is a low-noise (4.4μV_RMS), low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) capable of delivering 4A with a maximum dropout voltage of only 175mV. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 5.1V via an external resistor divider. The TPS7A54 combines low noise (4.4μV_RMS), high PSRR, and high output current capability, making it ideal for powering noise-sensitive components in applications such as radar power supplies and infotainment systems. Its excellent performance suppresses power supply-induced phase noise and clock jitter, making it well-suited for powering RF amplifiers, radar sensors, and chipsets. The high performance and output capability of up to 5.0V make it particularly suitable for RF amplifier applications. For digital loads requiring low-input and low-output (LILO) voltage operation — such as ASICs, FPGAs, and DSPs — the TPS7A54 delivers outstanding system performance through its exceptional accuracy (0.5% over load and temperature range), remote sensing, superior transient response, and soft-start functionality.
