Overview
The TPS7A7200 low-dropout (LDO) regulator is designed for applications requiring ultralow dropout (180mV at 2A), with input voltages ranging from 1.5V to 6.5V. The TPS7A7200 features an innovative, user-configurable output voltage setting ranging from 0.9V to 3.5V, eliminating the need for external resistors and removing any associated errors. The TPS7A7200 offers very fast load transient response, remains stable with ceramic output capacitors, and supports better than 2% accuracy over line, load, and temperature. A soft-start pin allows applications to reduce inrush current to the load. In addition, an open-drain power-good signal enables power rail sequencing. The TPS7A7200 is available in a 3mm×3mm, 16-pin QFN and a 5mm×5mm, 20-pin VQFN package.
