Overview

TPT1044VQ and TPT1044Q are CAN transceivers compliant with ISO11898-2:2024 and SAEJ2284-1 through SAEJ2284-5 high-speed CAN physical layer standards. These devices are designed for CAN FD networks at data rates up to 5 Mbps, with enhanced timing margins in long-distance and high-load networks, and support data rates up to 8 Mbps in simple CAN bus networks. System designs can be optimized through excellent EMC and ESD performance. The TPT1044VQ features a secondary power supply input VIO pin for I/O level shifting, directly supporting 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V MCU logic levels. This device family offers a low-current standby mode and supports wake-up from the CAN bus via the wake-up pattern defined in ISO11898-2:2024. These devices are designed with bus fault protection from -45V to +45V, TXD dominant timeout, and overtemperature shutdown. In addition, all devices include a power-off ideal passive behavior fail-safe feature to enhance network robustness. The TPT1044VQ and TPT1044Q are available in SOP8 and DFN3X3-8 packages and are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
