Overview
U5315/6 is a high-speed three-phase gate driver for power MOSFETs and IGBTs, featuring three independent high-side and low-side referenced output channels. Built-in dead-time protection and shoot-through protection prevent half-bridge damage. The undervoltage lockout (UVLO) circuit prevents malfunction when VCC and VBS fall below specified threshold voltages. Employing an advanced high-voltage BCD process and common-mode noise cancellation technology, the device ensures stable high-side driver operation under high dV/dt noise conditions, along with excellent negative transient voltage immunity. Low-power features include a standby mode that places the IC into a low quiescent current state for extended battery life.
