Overview

The WS3222E series are interface ICs powered by a 3V supply, compliant with EIA/TIA-232 and CCITT V.28/V.24 communication standards, and designed to meet low-power requirements. Each device integrates two drivers, two receivers, and a dedicated switched-capacitor voltage converter. These devices operate from a 3V to 3.6V supply, guaranteeing a data rate of 250kbit/s. ESD protection on all RS-232 I/O pins exceeds ±15kV air discharge and ±8kV contact discharge per EN61000-4-2.
