Overview
The XC6206 series is a high-accuracy, low-power, positive-voltage linear regulator manufactured using CMOS process technology and laser trimming. The device features an extremely low dropout voltage at rated output current. It integrates a current limiting circuit, driver transistor, high-accuracy reference voltage source, and error correction circuit. The series supports the use of ceramic capacitors with low ESR. The foldback circuitry in the current limiter provides short-circuit protection for both the current limiter and the output pin. Through laser trimming, the output voltage can be set from 1.2V to 5.0V in 0.1V increments.
