XLA1044GT

XLA1044 is a member of the high-speed CAN transceiver product family. It provides an interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. The transceiver is designed for high-speed CAN applications in the automotive industry, providing differential transmit and receive capabilities for CAN protocol controllers. XLA1044 offers a feature set optimized for 12 V automotive applications with significant improvements and excellent EMC performance. In addition, XLA1044 features the following characteristics: ideal passive behavior on the CAN bus when the supply voltage is off; an ultra-low current standby mode with bus wake-up capability; excellent EMC performance even without a common-mode choke; and models with a VIO pin for direct connection to microcontrollers with supply voltages from 3.3 V to 5 V. These features make XLA1044 an excellent choice for all types of high-speed CAN nodes, especially for low-power mode nodes that require wake-up via the CAN bus. XLA1044 implements the CAN physical layer as defined by ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284-1 through SAE J2284-5. The XLA1044T variant supports data rates up to 1 Mbit/s. Other variants specify additional timing parameters defining loop delay symmetry. This implementation supports reliable communication during the fast phase of CAN FD at data rates up to 5 Mbit/s.
