Overview

YT8011A/AN/AR is a single-pair Ethernet PHY transceiver designed to operate over unshielded twisted-pair cable. It complies with the Ethernet physical layer specifications defined in IEEE 802.3bw and IEEE 802.3bp for 100/1000BASE-T1, including auto-negotiation, link synchronization, and OAM functionality. The device supports RGMII and SGMII interfaces. YT8011A/AN/AR supports 3.3V/2.5V/1.8V I/O signaling for RGMII, and YT8011A/AN supports SGMII signaling. The device supports sleep/wake functionality for automotive Ethernet. The sleep function places the PHY into a low-power sleep mode. The wake function effectively triggers the PHY to transition from sleep mode to normal operating mode. YT8011A/AN/AR employs advanced mixed-signal technology and an analog front end to achieve high-speed data transmission and reception over UTP cable. YT8011A/AN/AR internally implements adaptive equalization, echo cancellation, data recovery, and error correction to deliver robust transmit and receive performance at 100Mbps or 1000Mbps. It provides high ESD protection and excellent EMC performance.
