Overview

YT8821C/YT8821H are highly integrated 10BASE-Te, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T, and 2.5GBASE-T transceivers, compliant with both IEEE 802.3 standards and NBASE-T Alliance PHY. They perform all necessary physical layer functions for 10BASE-Te, 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet over CAT5E UTP cable. Leveraging advanced DSP technology and an analog front end, they enable high-speed data transmission and reception over UTP cable. This highly integrated solution incorporates a digital adaptive equalizer, analog-to-digital conversion, line driver, echo canceller, crosstalk canceller, PLL, and more. Additional features include auto MDI/MDIX detection and correction, as well as polarity correction. Data transfer between the MAC and YT8821 is performed via a SERDES interface, which can be configured as SGMII or 2500BASE-X. YT8821C/YT8821H operate across multiple digital I/O voltage levels, including 3.3V and 1.8V. Commercial grade: YT8821C Industrial grade: YT8821H
