Overview
The 4060H is a 600mA single-cell lithium-ion battery linear charger with input voltage tolerance up to 30V and power OVP function, employing a constant current/constant voltage charging mode. The 4060H uses an internal PMOSFET architecture with reverse-charge protection circuitry, eliminating the need for an external blocking diode. Thermal feedback adaptively regulates the charging current to limit chip charging current during high-power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The termination voltage is 4.2V (4.35V available upon customization). The charging current can be externally set via a single resistor. When the charging current drops to 1/10 of the programmed value after reaching the final float voltage, the 4060H automatically terminates the charging cycle. When the input voltage is removed, the 4060H automatically enters a low-current state, reducing battery leakage current to below 0.1uA. Additional features of the 4060H include undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge, and two LED status pins indicating charge and end-of-charge states. The 4060H is available in an SOT23-5 package with a bottom-side thermal pad. The 4060H is suitable for USB power supplies and adapter power supplies.
