Overview
The 74HC/HCT245 is an 8-bit bus transceiver circuit with 3-state control. It features an output enable port OE and a direction select port DIR for controlling transmit/receive operation. When OE is HIGH, the outputs are disabled in a high-impedance state. The inputs include built-in clamp diodes, allowing the input interface to be connected to voltages exceeding Vcc through current-limiting resistors.
