Overview

The 74HC/HCT541 is an 8-bit non-inverting buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs. The device features two output enable control pins (OE1 and OE2). When either OEn pin is driven HIGH, the outputs are forced into a high-impedance state. Clamping diodes are integrated on the inputs, allowing input interfaces to be connected to voltages higher than VCC through current-limiting resistors.
