Overview
The 74LVC07A is a hex buffer with open-drain outputs. The inputs can be driven by 3.3V or 5V devices. This feature allows these devices to be used as translators in mixed 3.3V and 5V environments. Schmitt-trigger action on all inputs enables the circuit to tolerate slower input rise and fall times. The device is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using I<sub>OFF</sub>. The I<sub>OFF</sub> circuitry disables the outputs, preventing damaging backflow current through the device when it is powered down.
