Overview

The AD8051 (single), AD8052 (dual), and AD8054 (quad) are rail-to-rail output voltage feedback amplifiers offering ease of use and low cost. They deliver the bandwidth and slew rate typically associated with current feedback amplifiers. All versions feature a wide input common-mode voltage range and output voltage swing, making them easy to use on single supplies as low as 2.5V. Despite their low cost, the AD805X family provides excellent overall performance. They offer wide bandwidth up to 250MHz (gain = +1), 0.1dB flatness to 52MHz (gain = +2), and typical supply current as low as 2.8mA/amplifier. The low distortion and fast settling time of the AD805X family make them ideal for buffering high-speed ADCs or DACs. The AD8051 features a power-down disable function that reduces supply current to 50μA. These characteristics make the AD8051/2 well suited for portable and battery-powered applications where size and power consumption are critical. All versions are specified over the extended −40°C to +125°C temperature range.
