Overview

AP3429AKTTR-G2-MS is a high-efficiency DC-DC buck switching regulator capable of delivering up to 2A output current. The device operates over an input voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V and provides an output voltage from 0.6V to VIN. Operating at a fixed 2MHz switching frequency, it allows the use of small external components such as ceramic input and output capacitors and a compact inductor, while still achieving low output ripple. This low-noise output, combined with excellent efficiency through an internal synchronous rectifier, makes it an ideal replacement for high-power linear regulators. An internal soft-start control circuit reduces inrush current. Short-circuit and thermal shutdown protection enhance design reliability. The device is available in a SOT23-5 package.
