Overview
The BDxxGA5WEFJ series devices are LDO regulators with a 0.5A output current. Output voltage accuracy is ±1% of the output voltage. Both fixed and adjustable output voltage versions are available. The adjustable output voltage devices can be set between 1.5V and 13.0V via external resistors. Multiple fixed output voltage versions requiring no external resistors are also available. These devices are suited for a wide range of digital home appliance applications. The devices come in a compact package: HTSOP-J8 (4.90mm × 6.00mm × 1.00mm). These devices integrate an overcurrent protection circuit to protect against output short circuits, a 0μA shutdown mode, and a thermal shutdown circuit to protect against overload conditions. These LDO regulators are compatible with ceramic capacitors, enabling a smaller layout footprint and longer service life.
