Overview
The BQ2970 battery protection device provides an accurate monitoring and triggering threshold for overcurrent protection under high discharge/charge current operation or battery overcharge conditions. Package: – 6-pin DSE (1.50mm×1.50mm×0.75mm) The BQ2970 device provides protection functions for lithium-ion/lithium-polymer batteries and monitors external power FETs to provide protection during high charge or discharge currents. In addition, there is also monitoring and protection for overcharged and depleted batteries. These features are achieved with extremely low current consumption during normal mode operation.
