Overview
Texas Instruments' BQ76907 is a highly integrated, high-precision battery monitor and protector suitable for 2-series to 7-series Li-ion, Li-polymer, LiFePO4 (LFP), and LTO battery packs. The device includes a high-precision monitoring system with a dedicated coulomb counter and cumulative charge integration, a highly configurable protection subsystem, and support for host-controlled battery balancing. The integration includes a low-side protection NFET driver, a programmable LDO for external system use, and an I2C host communication interface supporting up to 400-kHz operation and optional CRC. The BQ76907 comes in a 20-pin QFN package.
