CA-IS1200U

The CA-IS1200 is a high-precision isolation amplifier optimized for shunt resistor-based current sensing. Low offset, gain error, and drift ensure measurement accuracy across the full operating temperature range. The CA-IS1200 uses a silicon dioxide (SiO₂) isolation barrier, supporting galvanic isolation up to 3750 VRMS (CA-IS1200U) or 5000 VRMS (CA-IS1200G) per UL 1577. This technology separates high- and low-voltage domains to protect low-voltage components from damage, while providing low emissions and robust immunity to magnetic field transients. High common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) enables the CA-IS1200 to transmit accurate signals across the isolation barrier, making it suitable for industrial motor control and drives requiring high-voltage and high-power switching. Integrated input common-mode overvoltage and high-side supply undervoltage detection features support fault diagnosis and system safety. The CA-IS1200 is available in an 8-pin DUB or wide-body SOIC package, rated for the extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to 125°C.
