Overview
The CD4011A consists of four 2-input NAND gates, fabricated using wide-voltage CMOS IC technology. It offers the advantages of low power consumption, high noise immunity, and flexible application. It features symmetrical source and sink current drive capability, compliant with the CD4000 series output driver standard. The device incorporates output buffering to provide very high gain, improving transfer characteristics and switching performance, while remaining insensitive to output impedance. To prevent electrostatic breakdown, all inputs are protected by diodes to VDD and VSS; unused inputs must be connected to VDD, VSS, or other inputs. The device is available in SOP-14, TSSOP-14, DIP-14, QSOP-16, and QFN-16 packages.
