Overview
CD4017C is a 5-stage Johnson decade counter with 10 decoded outputs and CLOCK, RE, INH inputs. The Schmitt trigger on the clock input provides pulse shaping, with no restrictions on the rise and fall times of the input clock pulses. When INH is low, the counter advances on the rising edge of the clock; otherwise, the count function is disabled. When RE is high, the counter resets to zero.
