CD4049UB and CD4050B hex buffers are monolithic wide voltage range CMOS ICs featuring low power consumption, noise immunity, and high application flexibility. These devices support logic level translation using only a single supply voltage VDD. When used for logic level translation, the input high level VIH can exceed the supply voltage VDD. These devices are used for CMOS-to-DTL and TTL level translation, or as CMOS current drivers, and can drive 2 DTL/TTL loads over the operating temperature range when VDD = 5.0V.
