Overview
The CD4060A consists of an oscillator and fourteen binary ripple carry counter/dividers. The oscillator configuration allows the design of RC or crystal circuits. All counters are master-slave type. When the RESET input is high, the counters are reset to zero. The counters advance on the falling edge of the input pulse. All inputs and outputs are buffered. The Schmitt trigger on the inputs imposes no restriction on the rise and fall times of the input pulse. The device is available in SOP16, TSSOP16, QFN-16, QSOP-16, and DIP16 packages.
