FH9017

FH9017 is a single-cell lithium-ion battery constant current/constant voltage linear charger IC. Available in SOT23-6 package with minimal external component count, making it ideal for portable applications. Built-in high-voltage MOSFET and internal reverse-current protection circuit support both USB and adapter power input, eliminating the need for external sense resistors and isolation diodes. Thermal feedback automatically adjusts charge current to limit die temperature during high-power operation or elevated ambient temperature conditions. Multi-stage charging modes — trickle charge, constant current, constant voltage, and auto-shutdown — effectively extend battery life. FH9017 delivers up to 600mA charge current (with a well-designed thermal PCB layout) and ±1% float voltage accuracy. Integrating an internal power MOSFET and thermal regulation circuit eliminates the need for isolation diodes or external current sense resistors. The basic charger circuit requires only one external component and is compatible with USB power input.
