Overview
FM4412M is a highly integrated and reliable two-cell lithium battery boost charging management IC. The charge current is configured via an external RCS resistor. The charging system integrates both constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) modes, delivering superior performance. The boost switching charge converter supports a maximum operating frequency of up to 1MHz. The FM4412M operates with a 5V input and features a built-in adaptive loop that intelligently adjusts the charge current to match all adapters. Its minimal external components effectively reduce the overall solution size and lower BOM cost. The device integrates comprehensive protection features, including input undervoltage protection, battery overvoltage protection, and chip over-temperature protection. The FM4412M is available in a compact DFN-8L package, supports battery NTC protection, and is rated for an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 85℃.
