Overview
A lithium-ion battery charger IC designed for 5V input supply with up to 2A charging current output. Employing a 1.5MHz fixed-frequency synchronous buck converter, it achieves over 90% charging efficiency with minimal self-heating. The IC integrates a complete charge termination circuit, automatic recharge, and a preset charge voltage of 4.2V/4.35V with ±1% accuracy. Built-in protections include reverse current blocking, output short-circuit protection, and both IC and battery temperature protection. Available in ESOP8 with exposed pad and compact DFN3×3 packages, requiring minimal external components, making it ideal for integration into various handheld applications as a high-efficiency charger solution for high-capacity batteries.
