The HGV854xA series single, dual, and quad op amps are designed for general-purpose, cost-sensitive systems and applications. Featuring rail-to-rail input and output swing, low quiescent current (75 μA typical), wide bandwidth (1.5 MHz), and ultralow noise (25 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz), this series is well-suited for a wide range of battery-powered applications requiring a good balance between cost and performance, such as audio output, consumer electronics, smoke detectors, portable medical devices, and white goods. Low input bias current enables these amplifiers for use in applications with megaohm-level source impedances. The robust design of the HGV854xA amplifiers provides ease of use for circuit designers: unity-gain stable, capable of driving capacitive loads up to 500 pF, integrated RF/EMI rejection filter, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high ESD protection (5 kV HBM). The HGV854xA amplifiers are optimized for operation over a voltage range of +1.8 V (±0.9 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V) across a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, and are fully specified and guaranteed for operation over an extended temperature range of −40°C to +85°C at supply voltages from +2.0 V (±1.0 V) to +5.5 V (±2.75 V).
