Overview

The HOPAx340 series single, dual, and quad operational amplifiers represent a new generation of general-purpose, low-power op amps. The series features rail-to-rail input and output swing, low quiescent current (typical 685µA), wide bandwidth (11MHz), and ultra-low noise (8.3nV/√Hz at 1kHz), making it highly attractive for a wide range of battery-powered applications that require a good balance between cost and performance, such as audio output, motor phase current sensing, photodiode amplification, barcode scanners, and white goods. Low input bias current enables these amplifiers to be used in applications with megohm-level source impedances. The robust design of the HOPAx340 amplifiers provides ease of use for circuit designers: unity-gain stability with capacitive loads up to 500pF, integrated RF/EMI rejection filters, no phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and high ESD protection (5kV Human Body Model). The HOPAx340 amplifiers are optimized for voltage ranges from as low as +1.8V (±0.9V) to as high as +5.5V (±2.75V) over a temperature range of 0℃ to 70℃, and operate over an extended temperature range of −40℃ to +125℃ at supply voltages from +2.0V (±1.0V) to +5.5V (±2.75V).
