Overview

The HX855X series amplifiers are single/dual/quad-channel, micropower, zero-drift CMOS op-amps offering 1.8MHz bandwidth, rail-to-rail input and output, and single-supply operation from 1.8V to 5.5V. The series employs chopper stabilization technology to deliver ultralow offset voltage (maximum less than 30µV) and near-zero temperature drift. Each amplifier's low quiescent supply current of 180µA and ultralow input bias current of 20pA make it an ideal choice for low-offset, low-power, and high-impedance applications. The HX855X series provides excellent CMRR without the crossover distortion associated with conventional complementary input stages. This design enables superior performance when driving ADCs without degrading differential linearity. The HX8551 is available in SOT-23-5 and SOP-8 packages, the HX8552 in MSOP-8 and SOP-8 packages, and the quad HX8554 in green SOP-14 and TSSOP-14 packages. All devices operate across all supply voltages over the extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, providing additional design flexibility.
