Overview

The INA350 is a selectable-gain instrumentation amplifier offering four gain options, available in compact packages as the INA350ABS and INA350CDS. The INA350ABS provides gain options of 10 or 20, while the INA350CDS provides gain options of 30 or 50. These gain options are selected by toggling the gain select (GS) pin. The INA350 is an ideal choice for bridge sensing and differential-to-single-ended conversion applications. The INA350 is built with precision-matched integrated resistors, eliminating the need for precision or closely matched external resistors, thereby saving BOM cost, pick-and-place handling cost, and board space. The device connects directly to low-speed 10-bit to 14-bit ADCs, making it well suited as a drop-in replacement for discrete instrumentation amplifier implementations built with commodity amplifiers and discrete resistors. The INA350 is designed with a three-amplifier architecture for enhanced performance. It achieves a minimum CMRR of 85 dB and a maximum gain error of 0.6% across all gain options, along with a maximum offset voltage of 1.2 mV, while consuming a maximum quiescent current of only 125 μA. It features an integrated shutdown option that turns off the amplifier when idle, further conserving power in battery-powered applications.
