IP2332N

IP2332N is a battery charger management IC with 30V input voltage rating, supporting single-cell lithium battery synchronous buck charging. It integrates power MOSFETs in a synchronous switching architecture, requiring minimal external components to help reduce overall solution size and BOM cost. The buck switching charge converter operates at 500KHz with a maximum charge current of 2.4A; conversion efficiency reaches 92% under 5V input and 3.7V/1A output conditions; charge current is configurable via an external resistor. The IC supports 5V input and features intelligent charge current regulation to prevent adapter overload. It supports dual LED indicators, where LED1 provides constant current output without a series current-limiting resistor and supports customizable breathing light effects. IP2332N supports NTC functionality, complying with the 5-segment NTC charging standard, which stops charging when battery temperature is too low or too high, and reduces charge current or lowers the termination voltage at moderately low or high temperatures. The IC is available in a DFN8L-2X3 package.
