Overview
The IR21271 is a high-voltage, high-speed single-channel high-side MOSFET/IGBT gate driver IC with integrated overcurrent detection. Fabricated using a high-low voltage compatible process, it achieves single-chip integration of the high-side gate drive circuit. The logic input levels are compatible with CMOS or LSTTL logic output levels as low as 3.3V. The IC features a built-in high-side overcurrent protection circuit that shuts down the output upon detection of an overcurrent condition and asserts a fault signal through an open-drain FAULT pin. The floating channel supports driving of high-side N-channel power MOSFETs at operating voltages up to +300V. The IC is available in an SOP-8 package and operates over a temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃.
