Overview
LGS5600 is a dedicated lithium battery charge/discharge management IC integrating a buck converter, lithium battery charge management, and battery charge status indication, providing a complete power solution for USB-charged dry-cell battery replacements. Charge current and charge voltage are adjustable, supporting multiple lithium battery specifications with a maximum charge current of 1A. Charge current is automatically adjusted based on lithium battery temperature for enhanced safety and reliability. Discharge output is a fixed 1.5V or 2V (default version: 1.5V), with peak efficiency up to 93%. Standby current as low as 3µA, supporting long-term lithium battery standby. Integrated charging, charge-complete, and battery-absent indications. Charge port and output port short-circuit connection allowed for flexible layout across different applications.
