Overview

LM837 is a quad operational amplifier designed for improved tone control, ideally suited for audio applications. It features low noise, high gain-bandwidth, high output current, and low distortion, making it suitable not only for the acoustic electronics sections of audio preamplifiers and active filters, but also for industrial measurement instruments. At high output current, it is also applicable for headphone amplifiers. In addition, it can be used as a general-purpose portable op-amp operating from a single low-voltage supply with appropriate biasing.
