LP4030HBQVF

The LP4030H series are highly integrated switch-mode battery chargers for 1 to 4 cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer batteries. The device supports an input voltage range of 4.5V to 20V with a charge current up to 3A. The BAT pin can withstand voltages up to 28V, designed to protect the device from voltage overshoot in battery application systems. The device provides multiple safety features for battery charging, including battery undervoltage/over-temperature protection, device junction over-temperature protection, and cycle-by-cycle inductor current limiting protection. When the input power supply capacity is insufficient to deliver the programmed charge current, the input voltage regulation loop reduces the charge current. The STAT output indicates the charging status. The LP4030H series is available in a DFN-10 (3×3mm) package.
