Overview
LY6399N is a fully integrated power management IC designed for Bluetooth charging cases. It integrates lithium battery charge management, a synchronous boost converter, battery fuel gauge, and protection function modules. The integrated input OVP protection circuit provides overvoltage protection at 6.1V, with VIN input withstand voltage up to 30V. An integrated adapter adaptive function prevents no-charging or adapter damage scenarios. Supports Hall sensor direct drive control of the EN pin, enabling automatic earphone reconnection upon lid opening, 4S light-on upon lid opening, and automatic boost activation upon lid closing — eliminating the need for external MOSFETs, transistors, or other output loop control circuits. The EN pin can also be controlled by an MCU to regulate output voltage for one-way communication. Supports two modes: automatic load detection with auto shutdown, and 5V constant output. In auto-shutdown mode, the chip standby current is 4.5μA; in 5V constant output mode, the chip standby current is 45μA. Integrated NTC temperature protection function — by default, a single NTC resistor enables temperature monitoring of the lithium battery during both charging and discharging states.
