This is a fully integrated power management IC designed for lithium battery charging and discharging management, incorporating lithium battery charge management, a synchronous boost converter, battery fuel gauge, and protection modules. It supports automatic load detection and light-load auto-shutdown, with a standby current of 10μA after auto-shutdown. The charging current is 1A, and the maximum output current of the synchronous boost converter is 1A. It supports trickle, constant-current, and constant-voltage charging, as well as 0V battery charging. When the battery voltage is below 2.9V, the IC operates in trickle charge mode with a trickle charge current of 100mA; when the battery voltage exceeds 2.9V, constant-current charging is applied at 1A; as the battery voltage approaches 4.2V, the charging current gradually decreases, and the charging process terminates when the current drops to 100mA. In standby mode, if a load is detected at the output port, the IC initiates boost output; if the load current remains below 30mA for 16 seconds, the IC automatically shuts down. A built-in soft-start circuit is activated during boost startup. The switching frequency is 1MHz during normal operation, and the IC enters intermittent operation mode under light load to reduce power loss. The IC provides comprehensive protection features, including thermal protection, short-circuit/overload protection, battery undervoltage protection, and input undervoltage protection. It supports 1/2/4-LED battery indicator mode selection.
