Overview
MAX3232EESE is a dual driver/receiver compliant with the RS-232 standard, operating from a single supply voltage. The bipolar output voltage of the transmitters is generated by an internal voltage-doubling charge pump using four external 1.0μF capacitors. It is designed for state-of-the-art high-performance computing systems, high-speed electronic equipment, and highly reliable data exchange between remote nodes. Input voltage levels are compatible with standard CMOS and TTL levels.
