Overview
The ME6206 series are CMOS step-down voltage regulators with high ripple rejection ratio, low power consumption, low dropout voltage, and overcurrent/short-circuit protection. These devices feature very low quiescent current (8.0μA Typ.) and can deliver 300mA output current with minimal input-to-output voltage differential while maintaining good regulation. Due to the small dropout voltage and low quiescent current, these devices are especially suited for battery-powered products where extended battery life is desired, such as computers, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment.
