The OPA1655 and OPA1656 (OPA165x) are operational amplifiers designed specifically for audio and industrial applications where maintaining signal fidelity is crucial. The FET input architecture achieves a low voltage noise density of 2.9nV/√Hz and a current noise density of 6fA/√Hz, enabling ultra-low noise in various circuits. The OPA165x is designed with high bandwidth and high open-loop gain, offering a distortion rate as low as 0.000035% (–129dB) at 20kHz and improving audio signal fidelity across the full audio bandwidth. The device also features excellent output current drive capabilities, providing rail-to-rail output swing within a 250mV supply voltage range under a 2kΩ load and capable of delivering 100mA of output current. The OPA165x can operate over an ultra-wide supply voltage range from ±2.25V to ±18V and also at a supply current of only 3.9mA (4.5V to 36V), thus meeting the power supply limitations of many types of audio products. It is rated for an operating temperature range from –40°C to +125°C.
