The OPA314 series of single-channel, dual-channel, and quad-channel operational amplifiers are typical representatives of a new generation of low-power, general-purpose complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) amplifiers. This device series combines rail-to-rail input and output swing, low quiescent current (a typical value of 150μA at 0.5Vₛ), 3MHz high bandwidth, and extremely low noise (14nV/√Hz at 1kHz), and is widely used in battery-powered applications that require a good balance between cost and performance. The low input bias current supports applications with source impedance up to the megaohm level. The OPA314 devices are designed to be robust and easy for circuit designers to use. The device has an integrated RF/EMI suppression filter that is stable at unity gain, does not exhibit phase reversal under overdrive conditions, and has high electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection (4kV human body model (HBM)). These devices are optimized to operate at low voltages from 1.8V (±0.9V) to 5.5V (±2.75V) and are rated to operate over the full extended temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
