Overview
PT6010E is a battery protection IC designed for 8 to 10 series lithium-ion/polymer, LiFePO₄, or lithium titanate battery packs, reducing the risk of battery damage or shortened cycle life caused by overcharge, over-discharge, over-temperature, and/or overcurrent conditions. The ±25mV overcharge detection voltage accuracy ensures safe full-capacity charging. The ±10mV current detection voltage accuracy ensures precise overcurrent discharge triggering. The charge over-temperature protection threshold and discharge over-temperature protection threshold of the PT6010E can be independently configured via external resistors. The PT6010E directly drives external N-type charge MOSFETs and N-type discharge MOSFETs. Its low-power design minimizes current consumption during battery pack storage.
