Overview
The SLM8254 series is a protection IC designed for 3-cell or 4-cell series lithium-ion/lithium-polymer rechargeable battery packs, incorporating a high-accuracy voltage detector and delay circuit. The SLM8254 series supports switchable configuration between 3-cell and 4-cell protection via the SEL pin.
Key features
- 3-level overcurrent detection
- Overcharge detection delay time, overdischarge detection delay time, and overcurrent 1 detection delay time are settable via external capacitor; overcurrent detection 2 and 3 delay times are internally fixed
- Charge/discharge control via control terminal
- Low quiescent current: 30μA max during operation (+25°C), 0.1μA max during sleep (+25°C)
