Overview
SN74HC240DWR-JSM is an 8-bit inverting buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs. The device can be used as two 4-bit buffers or one 8-bit buffer. It features two output enable inputs (1OE and 2OE), each controlling four 3-state outputs. When nOE is high, the outputs are placed in a high-impedance (off) state. Clamp diodes on the inputs allow the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages exceeding VCC.
