Overview

The SN74HC/HCT245 is an 8-bit bus transceiver with 3-state outputs. The device features an output enable pin OE and a direction control pin DIR for transmit/receive selection. When OE is high, the outputs enter a high-impedance off state. Input clamp diodes are built in, allowing the input interface to be connected to voltages exceeding VCC through current-limiting resistors.
