Overview
SP202E, SP232E, SP233E, SP310E, and SP312E devices are a family of line driver and receiver pairs compliant with RS-232 and V.28 serial protocol specifications. These devices are pin-to-pin compatible with Exar's SP232A, SP233A, SP310A, and SP312A devices, as well as popular industry-standard pinouts. The human body model ESD withstand voltage of these devices has been improved to exceed ±15kV. This product family delivers a data rate of 120kbps under load, uses compact ceramic 0.1μF charge pump capacitors, and offers overall robustness suitable for commercial applications. Features include Exar's BiCMOS design, enabling low-power operation without sacrificing performance. The family is available in lead-free packages for both commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
