Overview
The TJA1040T chip serves as the interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. It is primarily designed for high-speed automotive applications with baud rates ranging from 60 kbps to 1 Mbps. It provides differential transmission capability to the bus while offering differential reception capability to the CAN protocol controller. It is fully compliant with the ISO 11898 standard.
