TJA1057GT-3J-TD

The TAJ1057 belongs to the Mantis family of high-speed CAN transceivers. It provides an interface between a controller area network protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. The transceiver is designed for high-speed CAN applications in the automotive industry, providing differential transmit and receive capability for CAN protocol controllers. The TAJ1057 offers a feature set optimized for 12V automotive applications with significant improvements. When the supply voltage is switched off, the TAJ1057 also exhibits ideal passive behavior on the CAN bus. Versions with a V10 pin can be directly interfaced with microcontrollers operating at supply voltages from 3.3V to 5V. The TAJ1057 implements the CAN physical layer as defined in ISO 11898-2:2024 Edition 3 and SAE J2284-1 through SAE J2284-5. The TAJ1057T version supports data rates up to 1 Mbit/s. Other versions also specify additional timing parameters defining loop delay symmetry. This implementation supports reliable communication at data rates up to 5 Mbit/s in the CAN FD fast phase. These features make the TAJ1057 an excellent choice for HS-CAN networks requiring only basic CAN functionality.
