Overview
The TLC555 is a general-purpose CMOS timer capable of providing precise time delays and frequency generation with ultra-low power consumption and supply current spikes. When used as a triggered delay, the time delay is precisely controlled by a single external resistor and capacitor. In astable mode, the oscillation frequency and duty cycle are precisely set by two external resistors and one capacitor. The device is available in DIP-8 and SOP-8 packages.
